where can i get aftermarket parts for a lawn tractor?

i have a scotts tractor thats about 10 years old with a fairly new briggs 17.5hp engine. my dad bought a new tractor and me and a buddy are turning this into a project. where can i get aftermarket pulleys to increase the speed?

Go to a salvage dump, they have old cars they store to sell parts along with lawn mowers, campers, tractors etc...
