How do I convert a 12v LED light so I can plug it into a wall socket?

I have a 12v LED light bar from a car and need to convert it so I can plug it into a wall socket which I assume is a standard 120v. Any tips or ideas how I can do it.

you will have to buy or build a 12 volt power supply. If you're handy, you can do it with a step-down transformer and a full-wave bridge rectifier. The power supplies are also sold in electronics supply houses.
