kitchen sinks and taps

My toilet starts filling water when I use wash basin, downstair kitchen tap or even washing machine?
The toilet(in the house I just moved in) starts filling water when I use wash basin, downstair kitchen tap or even washing machine?
Is it some old flush parts that need to be replaced or plumbering (water supply) connection problem? that's old house I just moved in.
The toilet is the typical sort with press buttons on the top to control the flush. But every time after I use wash basin, kitchen sink tap or even washing machine, the toilet starts fill water up itself and flow into the bowl. someone who fit this existing toilet in, guessing it may.... be the old flush parts get loose and need to be replaced but want to charge us a lot for doing it.
Before pay someone to do, I would like to know
what causes this problem and how to fix it? has anyone experienced this ? how much is reasonable to pay a plumber to change the flush parts(if it is the case). any advice appreciated
Im only guessing...
But sounds maybe the valve that is connected to the float in your cistern may be washed out or something.
I believe that bacause you say it only does that when you use water elsewhere. So the water pressure decreases relaxing the valve and then starts filling the cistern. So all that would need replacing is the valve, and I am sure it aint that much.
maybe get a second oppinion.
