Loader Operators
Is possible apply for Forklift Operator or similar with the WHV? (i'm experienced)?
If i have only the WHV visa and good skills in work like Forklift, Excavator, Loader Operator e Mechanic, is possible for me (italian, 24 without diploma) apply for take the Licence for this kind of job?
One of the licence are Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate II
for forklift operator the license course is of 2 days and 300$! Not so much!
I want know is the law permit me, not if is cheap or not.
When you're in Australia on a WHV, the only work restriction is that you can't work for any one employer for longer than 6 months. There is nothing to stop you from applying for a forklift, excavator or any other type of licence. If you have the time and money to do it, go ahead. If you want to stay longer, you may even be able to find an employer to sponsor your for a 457 visa once you have the licence those are all 457 eligible occupations.
