Ok. Well i was using my laptop in the lounge when i heard a moving around and squeaking noise coming from the kitchen. So i got up and looked, i saw a mouses tail hanging out from the side. It sounded like it was struggling so i opened the grill but it wasn't there. Then i looked and i think its sort of near the top of the stove, But trapped. I am worried about getting diseases from using the oven. Also we already know we have mice under the sink. I know where they get in from outside but i can't find the entrance. I saw lots of mice poo and i don't mind them but i know they carry diseseases and its freaking me out. The exterminator is an option but i don't want to be cruel and i just want them out of the oven . Coz My Mum can't cook. Please no cruel suggestions. Thanks
This may help...Since you say you see the droppings under the sink, that is probably the place where they are entering the kitchen, maybe even the only entrance into the house.
Mice can crawl in thru the small gap around pipes under the sink. The way I discourage this...I put chunks of steel wool or even Brillo or SOS pads stuffed into the gaps around the pipes. Mice will not chew thru the steel wool pads. Make the pieces large enough to really fit in tightly.
You may want to do the same thing around all pipes in all bathrooms and laundry room too.
If you can find any openings on the outside of the house, plug these the same way.
As for disease, not likely. Vacuum up the droppings then wipe the area down with alittle bleach/water solution. (9 parts water, 1 part bleach) or use Clorox spray cleaner.
