how can I use winch that is set up for wireless without the remote control.?

can I disable the remote part installed on the winch. I'm trying to use a winch set up for wireless with a rocker switch. I've noticed there is a receiver on the motor end of the winch. Can this be removed or rewired for direct switch operation?

since your winch operates on a radio frequency, you can just take the guts out of your remote and wire them to your rocker switch and VIOLA! you now have a wireless rocker switch!
