Wheel Dresser
What is this piece of furniture called?
I was emptying out my parents storage unit for them and came across an interesting piece of furniture and have no idea what exactly it is. It is obviously old (wooden wheels, old hinges/knobs, solid wood, etc). It looks like a dresser, sort of. I stands about 3'-9" tall, 2'-6" wide, and 1'-6" deep. It has 2 drawers on the bottom...regular old drawers but the top section has 2 doors (like an armoire) but when you open the doors instead of an opening like an armoire it has 3 additional drawer of a differrent style. To me it's the result of a chest of drawers and an armoire having a child. I'm wondering is there is a specific name for this style of furniture or if it's just maybe an oddball. Thanks in advance for your thoughts all!
It sounds to me if it is an old buffet table I have one that is about 80 years old like what my grandmother used to have. I picked up at an yard sale for $2.00 and after I paid the man his money and put the buffet in the truck I told him it's true worth and what it was he said by chance you wouldn't have more money would you. I said sure I do but, I didn't give him anymore His truest lesson I told him sadly he should check out his merchandise before he puts a price on it.
