Welded Diamond Saw

how do i cut into cast iron and connect to plastic?
i need to add a 2" plastic pipe [shower waste] to a 4" cast iron pipe [soil ] and i was thinking that i could just cut into the pipe and seal with either silicone or a 2 part adhesive like "rad weld or a compound that seals with both parties [ie cast and plastic.] any better suggestions? What tool do i need to cut the cast? i was thinking of a carbon/ diamond hole saw that cuts into cast, but they are expensivie so does anyone have any other renidies?
Thanks
just get a cheap hole cutter for metal that fits in to a normal drill mate then seal it with miliput (an epoxy resin) cheap as chips
