undermount stainless sinks

undermount sink- remove exposed excess caulk??
We finally got our Quartz countertop installed along w/ a stainless undermount sink with a 1/4" reveal.
Problem- They used so much clear acrylic caulk that it is all over the rim and looks nasty. I noticed it before the workers left but they said I'd have to wait until it was dry and it would "just rub right off." They did spray some stinking stuff on it and got some of it off but it still looks very unprofessional. In researchin online, everything says it should have been removed when still wet.
QUESTION- What can I use to get the exposed excess caulk off of the stainless reveal without scratching/ harming the stainless or the quartz counter? Thanks!
Yea it should just rub off just add some water onto it,unless it already cured usualy 24 hrs or more the stinking stuff was probably a opps or goof off type of remover .They also make a caulk remover, but rubbing might be the best method. You can try the remover but i would try a test spot first.Good luck.
