screeching snowblower noise?
I went to snowblow my driveway last night, but my auger is making a screeching sound and it shuts the machine off when I press it down. It starts right back up, but just continues to screech when I push lever down for auger and shuts off.I cleaned out all snow and ice, I think. Can anyone help? I have a ton of snow out there
Oh boy. sounds like a bearing is gone kerputz..see if you can move the auger shaft at the bearing usually this would only happen if your blower got alot of use and very little maintenance..Might want to suck up to the neighbors with snow removal toys for a while.
