Tip Screwdriver

I think I caused a short circuit...?
I was trying to see what was wrong with this electrical outlet in my bedroom because it didn't work. At first I thought it was just loose so I took a screwdriver and removed the cover to tighten it, then I accidentally touched the tip of the screwdriver with one of the screws inside and there was a spark. Now, none of the lights in that and another bedroom don't work and the one in the hallway doesn't work either. Can anyone tell me what I did and how I can fix it?
you need to find someone like an electrician to fix it. ur lucky it was the screwdriver and not u. that's prolly a 20 amp circuit and you could have electrocuted yourself. you prolly tripped your breaker.it needs to be reset in your box. if that doesn't work than the outlet needs to be replaced
