Stilts Drywall Finishing
i am finishing treehouse(room on stilts). plywood sheeting or sheetrock?
i have i 8'x8' room on stilts in my backyard. it is to code. i am going to turn it into my bedroom. im going to insulate it but i was wondering what should i sheet it with? would 1/2" plywood be ok? or should i just stick to drywall...also any tips or concerns would be appreciated. thanks!
all im putting up there is a cot and maybe a television. but aside from looks, would plywood work as walls?
Is it up to code for a habitable space? Electric, heating, stairs, floor loads, smoke detectors, arch fault breakers, etc. Why I am asking is that my major concern would be the floor loads, if you put furniture such as a waterbed is it going to be able to support it and it could also be a fire hazard without a means of egress?
