my 4 wheeler is hard to start but runs great when running?
i have a 87 250r quadracer with a completly rebuilt motor that runs great but it is very hard to start u have to kick it a half hour b4 it will start but if u have somebody push u about 10' it fires rite up why is thi and what could cause it and how do i make it start easier it is a kick start 2 stroke
in this order;
Clean the air filter
replace the plug
adjust your choke
check for vacuum leaks from airbox to carb and from carb to engine
run a compression test
rebuild the carb
shoot it and buy another one
