Root Grapple

How to NOT have a scar from a recent wound?
I got scratched while grappling, the wound broke the skin and hit connective tissue (i believe it's called), on the back of my hand. I've tried tumeric that stuff in curry. Also I have a few recent wounds on my face and chest from popping pimples with the use of a metal stick with a hole through it at one end, the person who popped them for me used her finger nails a little to weed out the root of it but she used disinfectant afterwards, alcohol probably. What is the best way to stop or reduce the appearance of these scars.
Try to cover it with a bandage with neosporin to keep it from getting infected. Remember to change the bandage every day to keep it clean. After you no longer need a bandage, apply neosporin to reduce scarring for at least a month. The most important thing to remember is that sun damage sets a scar. You will need to put sunscreen on the area as often as possible. It can take up to a year for a scar to fully heal/set.
