Rig Diamond

Should i buy this rig?
I'm going to make my own gaming rig, but i need to perfect it, with a good case, etc.
A Gigabyte GA-x58A motherboard
An Intel i7 3.06GHz processor
2 Sapphire AMD 6870 Graphics cards in Crossfire
1TB 7200RPM Western Digital HDD
16GB Kingston HyperX T1 DDR3 1333MHz RAM
Diamond Multimedia XtremeSound XS51
I've got cd, etc already. I need 2 more things. PSU and a chassis. If you have any suggestions for change, please do
and i'd like to stay under 1500$
The specs are very nice.
My suggestions are:
The i7 isn't the best choice for gaming Pc because the CPU with only give you a small push. The best choice is the i5 or Phenom II x4 or x6 or the new one Bulldozer chip. I'm not saying that the i7 is bad but the i7 was build having in mind to process heavy multi tasking software, like video/photo editing, servers, professional 3D modeling etc. Games aren't multi tasking so is waste of money. Unless you plan in doing video/photo editing well then buy it.
16BG of RAM are a bit too much, a gaming Pc needs at least 4GB, I suggest you reduce to 8GB or 12GB max. You don't need more unless you want to do video/photo editing as well while playing a game.
PSU: The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand Series 850W (TPG-850M) is ine of the best PSUs.
Case: Also the Thermaltake is making some of the best cases.
Mid case:
Thermaltake V9. Standard of with transparent side window.
Thermaltake Element G. It has x3 200 x 200 x 20-front,side,top- x1 140 x 140 x 25-rear-. Also it is
LCS Upgradable with Support of 1/2”、3/8”、1/4” water tube for the future.
Full Tower:
Thermaltake Level 10, Thermaltake Level 10GT, Thermaltake Element V Black Edition. These cases support all new long GPUs with max length 36cm, they have very nice cable management and nice build quality.
