Appx how much does it cost to remove poly b potable water pipes and re-pipe with copper?
The house is about 2500 square feet and it is in the San Diego area.

Bill, why copper, of all other materials? Copper is very, very expensive. Nonetheless, should you wish, to properly get an estimate that econmpasses the true cost is to get one from local plumbing contractors in your area, as the cost of material and labor greatly varies by location; with that said, people here on Yah--even with the best of intentions--could lead you down the wrong path, as their estimates are inherently too high or too low for the cost estimate you'd probably get from a local contractor in your area.
So, call local plumbing contractors in your area for free estimates.
