I an trying to connect my hook and pad sanders work on my new porter cable radial orbital sanders.?

my sander face is smooth. the hook and pad disk look like velro on the back. Do I need some kind of pad that sticks on the sander first? I am not
sure how to attahed the disk to the sander disk. Thanks

Porter Cable makes to faces for their orbital sander thew smooth one for the Stickies and the other is the Hook and Loop (The Velcro one) Many like the Velcro one better as it costs far less than the Stickies.

Lastly get a rubber stick to clean your sanders while sanding the disks will last a lot longer.....
