can you use nylon or plastic pipe/tubing in a air conditioning system?

I have copper pipe in my air con system between the indoor and outdoor units which has fractured because of the bends, I want to know if it can be replaced with plastic and what type does it have to be and who could supply it in the UK I don't want to be shopping all over the world for it

NO, the pressure is too high for plastic. the heat is too high on the hot side and too low on the cold side.
Use copper couplers, cut the pipe and solder on the couplers. If you didn't know this you need a pro to repair it for you.
