Pipe Threading

Is it wrong to run copper pipe to a steal air compressor tank?
I'm installing an air filter on my 60 gallon air compressor, I was gonna use threaded pipe but copper seems so much easier. Is this a good idea, or should I stick to steel? Thanks!
I ran an entire truck service shop out of sweated copper. 1 1/2" with 3/4" drops at 135 psi. It works great, But, You should use a flex hose from the ridged copper to the tank. This will stop the vibrations from ever getting to your pipes.
Also, if you can afford some extra valves, you should put drain valves on drip legs below every drop to get rid of condensation and save your tools some ware and tare.
Good luck
Chris
