Off Saw Walk
Is it illegal to walk through town with a walking stick (read details)?
I took a hand saw and trimmed a walking stick off of our hickory tree and its 39 inches long and 2 1/2 inches thick. I walk out in the state park here and I need it for defensive purposes in case of an attack from wild dogs or the like. I live in Missouri, is it illegal for me to walk through town with his?

But your "cane" is safe as long as it is not used on a person and meant for defense only. You may be charged with a ACA if you even raise it in anger against a person.
