Marble Dry Polishing

How do I remove hard water marks from a shiny work surface without buffing?
We have a marble effect work surface with a shiny surface and live in a hard water area. When we wipe over the surface with a damp cloth the water, as it dries, leaves a film that has to be buffed away to get a really clean looking shiny finish. Any suggestions for an alternative method that doesn't involve polishing?
Clean the table with white vinegar, instead of water.
And the first time you clean the table, really saturate the table with Vinegar. Then wipe with clean rags. This should remove the hard water stains.
If the stains remain, try using Iron Out™.
You can buy Iron Out in many hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, and also here:

With either product, test a small inconspicuous spot before using.
