How do I turn off the keypad lock on a blackberry curve?

I have security settings on, on my blackberry. So there is a password, but I'm aggravated that anytime my screen fades to black, it requires the use of my password. Is there a way to make it not lock automatically?

I don't think you can STOP it from automatically locking, but you can extend the time it takes for it to automatically lock! If you go into your security settings, then general you should see something like the "timeout period".
