Leveling Rotary
Fulbright Scholarship?
Hello I am a smart and hard-working recent college graduate. For my next phase in life, I had wanted to study abroad to further my knowledge and worldview. Since I am of Japanese origin, I wanted to get a scholarship or fellowship to Japan to study at a university there (since I left the country where I was little and haven't seen much of it).
I looked up Fulbright Scholarship and was all excited to apply for it, until I found out that it was open ONLY to U.S. Citizens. I am only a permanent resident (Green Card holder), so I can't apply for it. I was bummed out, but I was wondering if anybody out there can tell me or pinpoint me to a good study abroad fellowship/scholarship that they know of or have gone on that they can recommend me. Any help would be great. So far, I have found Rotary International Foundation of the Rotary Club.

p.s. I would like to study in Japan for at least 2 years at the undergraduate level, eventually getting my second bachelor's degree.
Since you are still a Japanese citizen, why don't you check with the Japanese delegation to the UN, the Embassy in Washington or the nearest Japanese trade office.
They might have information on fellowships in Japan.
