Left Handed Silver

I have a interview for a military college tomorrow, should i wear i ring that i usually wear?
I usually dont wear a lot of jewlery, i just want to wear this one ring that i like. its quite plain with some some engraving designs on it. (silver in color)
it goes on my left hand on the middle finger, would it be appropriate?
Considering that this is a military college, I would strongly recommend that you leave the ring at home. The only ring that would be permissible is a wedding band, and from the description you gave of your silver ring, it sounds too jazzy to be considered as such.
The military requires that a person conform to certain rules and regulations. One of them is the strict dress code. It shows that you are psychologically strong and do not need any supersitions, good luck charms, on any other sentimental item with you to give you confidence. That ring might be a bad sign that you are in some way lacking in self-confidence.
Take my advice, remove it for the interview. They want to see who you are, naked if need be. If you need a ring to take with you, it will seem like a small indication of a much larger psychological crutch that you need. They may see this as potentially a crack in your self-image.
Test yourself and be honest: Why do you want the ring with you? Can you do the interview without it? If either answer to these self-questions shows a sign of clingy weakness, it could sink your chances. There are probably other applicants behind and before you. The recruiter will be looking for reasons to get rid of some applicants. Don't put yourself in that position just for a favorite ring. It won't disappear if you keep it at home. Trust yourself, not an object.
Good luck!
