Laser Rangefinder

I have a few questions about bow-hunting deer?
I'm a beginning bowhunter, just got a bow this summer and started practicing. I have a few questions for people that have gone bowhunting before. (I have shot a few deer with a rifle just not with a bow).
Do you use a laser rangefinder?
What kind of tree stand to you use? Or do you use a tree stand? (Climbing, ladder, or open)
How far do you like to be up in a tree?
How do you stay calm when shooting at a deer?
What kind of arrows do you use?
What color are your fletchings or does this not matter?
What time of day do you hunt?
Do you use stabilizers?
Do you use a release loop around you knock indicator?
You don't have to answer all of these. Please indicate your personal preference. Thanks for the help.
Do you use a laser rangefinder?
No I do not.
What kind of tree stand to you use? Or do you use a tree stand? (Climbing, ladder, or open)
Summit Viper- climber
How far do you like to be up in a tree?
I hunt at least 20 foot high and sometimes 25-30
How do you stay calm when shooting at a deer?
It's hard to do, but gets easier with experience. But here is a tip. Practice visualizing a deer showing up and you aim at a particular spot on the deer and make a perfect shot. Do it over and over in your mind as you ae waiting on a stand. This will help you make a good shot when it is crunch time and also get you used to seeing deer so it will not be a surprise to you when one shows up.Plus it have you geared for the right steps to take to make the shot.Because you have went over and over with the sequence of events in your mind already- this is an important bit of advice.
What kind of arrows do you use?
I use carbon arrows- get any brand that has a straightness factor of .003 or better and has a uniform spine weight and grain weight that does not vary much in a dozen arrows- do your research on this one.
What color are your fletchings or does this not matter?
I prefer brighter fletchings so I can follow the flight of the arrow better and see where the deer was hit at before getting down and looking at my arrow
What time of day do you hunt?
The best time for early bow season is the afternoon, but about the end of October the movement will be good in the morning also
Do you use stabilizers?
Yes It adds a degree of quiteness to the bow and eliminates a certain amount of hand shock
Do you use a release loop around you knock indicator?
Yes - it contributes to accuracy, and saves a lot of wear on the string serving
