How can you get kitchen sinks clean?
I have tried nearly everything I know of to clean my sink. It is not the sink itself that is the problem but the drainage ara. You know, the inch or so indent that leads into the drain in the center of the sink? It looks almost green it is so discolored. As far as I know the sink is stainless steel, but it is old. Anybody have any ideas? I have tried vinegar, household cleaner, and magic eraser. I would love to at last get it silver again, even if it doesn't sparkle.
Full strength bleach will make it sparkle. Put the plug in the sink and pour the bleach in an let it sit there for a while. It will not require scrubbing.
