Has anyone bought and had a problem with the "Moen" pull out sprayer kitchen sink faucet.?

We bought a faucet where the nosel is actually a sprayer. Well, as soon as we bought it, I noticed it starting to fray every time I pulled it out. Now, somehow, it completely tore and is stuck in the faucet, and I can't use it as the sprayer part. Has this happened ot anyone else? I am planning on emailing and stating my disappointment, but I want to see if it is a common thing.

Pull out spray faucets should allow the spray head to pull out smoothly, and NO fraying should occur for many years. Most brands of pull out spray faucets have a hose failure about every 5 - 7 years. Sounds like something was wearing yours out faster, a rough spot in the faucet or a pinched hose caused during installation. I would ask Moen to replace the whole faucet. Since proper installation is more important with pull out spray faucets, an experienced plumber is recommended.
