Hoist Jack

Junk cars on my property (Cincinnati, OH)?
I have a vacant investment property in Cincinnati, OH. It includes a small driveway/parking lot for 2 cars. I was in Cincinnati on Monday and noticed that someone has parked their junk cars on my property even though there is a large sign that says TOW AWAY ZONE. One of the cars has expired tags and the other is hoisted up on a jack. I immediately called the towing company, told them I was the owner of the property and they said they would come and get the cars.
The next day, I returned and the cars were still there. A man that works at a shop behind my property said that the cars were his and that his father used to own the property and also that he's been using the backyard as his garbage dump.
Obviously the towing company came (I had to depart before they got there) and he lied and said that he was allowed to have them there or something. How do I get rid of these cars? Is it going to cost me? Can I file a complaint with the city? I want them gone!
You certainly can, especially if it clearly says, Tow Away Zone. If it says that, you shouldnt have to pay for it, as that is a city sign and cars are not supposed to be parked there or they get towed away. Contact the city, tell them you requested these cars be towed and something must have happened. Maybe they will put you in touch with a code enforcement officer or something with power. It might take a couple calls, but in the end you are the one requesting the right thing within the law.
