seems her head is spinning round & round ?
her head is spinning round,
her heart is in my shoes,
Well I see that her world is upside-down
Seems that her pockets were once
filled up with gold
glamour bride
but things have taken a turn
clouds blown over
to take her away
down town train is waiting
looks like she spent
a night in a trench coat
you know this glass is full of sand
cant drink from its brigand
well that’s not the plan
in her life she digs her life with a spoon
in Spanish Harlem
a picture of Jesus is on the wall
will it be her saving blanket
from life’s Broadway hoodwink face ?
every face she sees looks up from the pathways
as she walks on down the hall
is there a way out of this romance
roses are dead, violets too

Modern, filled with interesting analogies.
I almost can place myself on the streets of Harlen, hearing latin phrases. THe word are well put together, nicely played and the whole poem is very descriptive.
I read 2 or 3 times and enjoied a lot.
So, my friend keep on going.
One thing I would change. The very last phrase, unless you did on purpose. THere are many *poemitos* with roses and violets.
Change violets if you wish.
