What to use on a sink drain flange going into a granite sink? Plumber's Putty directions says NOT for granite?
I had bought some Oatey Plumber's Putty for the sink flange in my granite kitchen sink. On the back it says not to use the putty for granite, marble or any other stone, and recommends the Oatey Tub N' Tile Calk. But I can seem to find Oatey's Tub N' Tile Calk. What else can I use if not the putty? Will any tub and tile caulk work? Silicone or is there something better? This is a large double basin farm style sink made out of black honed granite. The shiny side is down so the exposed side is the matted finish and the flanges have an antique copper finish.

use clear slicone any brand will do! just make sure its 100% silicone
