does the outside entrance door frame need to be bolted to the concrete foundation?

The door's trim inside has seem to shifted and in doing so has torn
the wall board. Was this from the frame not being properly installed or could it have been wind damaged or by a person trying to break in?

maybe the door go slammed real had and did it,i usually put 3 inch screws into the top and bottom hinge(2 per hinge)and maybe some 3inch finish nail on the opposite side of the hinges.
