Drywall Peg

Can my drywall support this weight?
I'm looking to hang a coat/peg rack on my wall and I'm wondering how I should install it, I was thinking of adding some keyhole hangers (correct me if they're called something else) to the rack and I was wondering if my drywall could support it. If yes, how many nail/screws should I use, and how large should they be?
At least one screw should go into a stud, though two would be better. If you can't get two to hit a stud, then put one in a stud and attach the other end with a drywall anchor. EZ Anchors are available at any hardware store or home center and hold 50 pounds each. I've used them when installing museum exhibits and they're a lot stronger, easier to use than the old molly bolts, and only require a medium phillips screwdriver to put in . You could just use two of them and they'll work fine for a coat rack, but I'd still put a screw or two into a stud. I'd use 1 5/8" drywall screws because they're pointier and easier to use than regular wood screws and are not available with a slotted head, which should be outlawed. You can use keyhole hangers with all of these but they require exact measurements because they have no room for adjustment. It's easier than it sounds, really.
