My cat won't drink from his water bowl?
I have one of the little double sectioned food/water dishes for my cat. He will eat his food out of it just fine. But when I put water in it he will not drink from it. He actually gets his paw underneath it and flips it over spilling the water on the floor right after I put the fresh water in it, every time. He will however drink from the shower after we get out, drink from the bathroom sink, the kitchen sink, and the toilet when we forget to put the lid down.
Has anyone else had a problem like this?
The water from the tap if it is city water is full of Florine, chlorine, lye and salt plus who knows what else the government dumps in it. The cat can smell the toxins and rejects it. The water in the sink and toilet have had time to allow some of the chlorine to evaporate into the air so the cat may decide to tolerate what is left. The cat just has better sense than humans when it comes to toxic waste.
