Cutter Table Saw

I am trying to cut vinyl J-trim at a 45 degree angle, any advice?
I have already tried the table saw, skill saw, and a fine jig saw blade. All of these shred the vinyl and leave a nasty finish edge. The jig saw blade cuts fairly well when I use a small piece of wood inside the j-trim to stabilize it during the cut. Nonetheless, I still do not achieve a production-finish like I would like and the jig saw blade never stays consistent. Lastly, I tried sharp hand cutters - these fail because the angle is to hard to cut out of the material by hand. Any advice? Any 45 degree cutters you can recommend?
hand miter box. not power. go slow and make sure your saw is sharp. use fine sandpaper or a very sharp razor knife to clean up the edges.
