Using household items for working out?
Basically I'm wondering if this is a good workout to build muscle:
-pushups with heavy books in back pack and to progress I would add like 5 pounds a week
-deadlifting my couch
-using my corner of my kitchen sink to do dips off of (it's 90 degrees)
-I have a trampoline so basically I go under the bar and explosively holding it with my arms and shoulder like in a front squat position I stand up then I lower it , and I usually can only get a few reps out
-standing shoulder presses with a decently heavy object
-chinups ( I have a doorway pullup bar)
what do you think? Could this build muscle?
Hi!
Definitely! It sounds like you have your nice personal gym right there.
That should be your strength training. As long as you do each training 10-20 reps in 3-5 sets DAILY, you will be fine.
To boost more muscle build up, get some cardio in too.
