On suing My neighbor for tampering with my swamp cooler?
this morning i was down stairs in my back yard and i noticed my neighbor who lives below me screwing around with the copper tubing to my swamp cooler/evap cooler. the jerk crimped the line closed then he shut off the water. it averages 100+ right now. i called the landlord he said if he{the landlord}has to call someone to fix it they are gone!! can i sue them for messing with me?
Call the police , it's faster and cheaper, what he did it's "destruction of private property" (well if you own the cooler and not the landlord) then you can also sue him.
Even if you don't own the cooler you can sue him (not for the cooler but for harrasment for exaple and maybe other damages).
