How do I hang a headboard to concrete wall?
I'm building a headboard out of plywood, padding it, and upholstering it. How do I hang it to the wall behind the bed. The wall is solid concrete
Use a router to make two "pockets" in the back of the board.
Drill two holes in the wall that correspond to and exactly line up with the pockets.
Put plastic anchors or some type of cement anchor into each of the holes
Thread a lag bolt into each of the anchors, leaving the heads slightly protruding from the wall.
Hang the head board up by sliding the pockets over the heads of the lags.
