Case Fits
what is name for slr case that pretty much form fits the canera, the top & front drop drop to allow?
taking pictures while in the case, and attaches to the camera by the mounting screw on the bottom of the camera. I have tried to locate one to buy but cannot seem to find the correct term to searchh for.

For dSLR cameras, hard cases will be hard to find because the entire back needs to be exposed for the screen and buttons. You can still find them for digital rangefinders (M9) & rangefinder lookalikes (Olympus Pen series), however, and for film cameras try eBay. They used to be commonly available.
