can i paint silver cabinet hardware to get the oil rubbed bronze look?

Updating my kitchen and want oil rubbed bronze handles and pulls without the cost of replacing. Can i paint or refinish the exsiting silver ones to get the look? What materials/products/colors are suggested?

No, you can't. The bronze hardware is made of a different material than the nickel hardware you have now. If you want new, buy a few at a time until you have enough, then replace them all at once. Hope this helps.
