Architect House Design

An architect designs a house that is 12m wide. The rafters holding up the roof are equal in length and meet?
at angle of 70 degrees. The rafters extend 0.3m beyond the supporting wall. How long are the rafters?
Need Help with diagram.
Thanks =)
So you have a triangle that is 12m across with a 70° at the top, which is the equivalent of two right triangles 6m at the base and with a 35° opposite. The sine is the ratio of side opposite to the hypotenuse and is 0.573576436 for 35° , so we divide 6m by this to get 10.46 and add the overhang of 0.3m to get 10.76m
