Air entrained and non air entrained?
Dear Sir /madam
i have question regrading paving rigid pavement of section of road my question is should i pour concrete for road section with air entrained or not? and whats the difference in between air entrained and non air entrained
There are two characteristics of air entrained concrete that I like:
1. It acts to make the concrete mixture more workable without having to add as much water. This leads to greater cured strength
2. With less water, the cured concrete is less permeable. The lower permability means the cured concrete doesn't absorb liquids as much. This is specially good for road ways that are subject to freezing and the application of salt or other de-icers.
